Went out with a friend on Thursday (7/14) and caught quite a few bass between the two of us. A few that were in the 3lb range but then a lot of 10 inches too. We also caught a bunch of tiny (10") northern. Most fish came in the 5-10 foot deep range. Will be back again.

i do realize big mac is an excellent lake, but in the winter have done well with tip ups for pike and walleye, but have had a hard time doing well with the panfish. seems you really have to chase them around out there and that is hard to do with the kids. so i was looking for something that would suit them a little better, with out sacrificing fish quality. thank you, REM700

Either one will produce good panfish, with crappies in late day into darkness.
Dunn has walleyes.
Spooner lake would be a good one to try as well.
If I was on big mac though I would want to find the fish there! That place has some great fishing!

just wondering if anyone has fished big casey or dunn lakes, or have any information on the lakes? heading north in a coulpe weeks to stay at a relitives cabin on big mckenzie. have fished on big mac before with some limited success, but would like to try another nearby lake. taking the kids out so would like to find some decent panfishing.
