Fifteen years ago a guy that owned a restaurant in Fennimore told my dad and I about a goodFirst Ice spot in Bagley. At the bottom of Wayalusing. Over the years I have seen areas like these silt in especially around Galena area. I know the locals are tight lip about some of these killer back waters. My question is do they still fish ice out of Bagley? I'm 50 yrs old and ice fish solo. We had some great trips there over the years. My dad died of cancer this year and uncle is to old to walk any distance so it's only me for now. If you have any information send me a message. These backwaters are gold. I'm coming over to try some fall walleye action and I can't seem to be able to locate any willowcats. I really dont want to drive to Genoa. Any help finding them in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone have any info on fishing the lower Wisconsin river from Wyalusing state park north east toward Spring Green. Going to go for musky, bass and maybe a walleye for dinner. Will be camping on the islands. Thanks in advance for any information.

Fished Sunday for 3 hours, one perch. Three tip ups out and one flag, teeth marks on the minnow but dropped. Saw two crappies caught but that was about it. Lots of guys coming and going.

I am planning on fishing at Bagley out from the River of Lakes for the Bryce Heckendforf Fisheree on Sat. Jan. 25th. I have posted the full information of the fisheree on the Ice Fishing forum page.

I am wondering if this is a spot where I could use an atv to pull my gear out or not.

I know some of the Mississippi back waters have springs and such so I am wondering about ice thickness and such.

What about water depth, and how far of a walk is it if I need to walk out to the ice?

Any and all information is welcome. Let your friends know about this great opportunity to help Bryce and his family.

TipDown! Cool

Caught a decent amount of middle sized gills near the docks, nothing huge but great for the kids.
