MOON PHASE (0%)
Waning Crescent

ICE DEPTH
4 inches

Fished 630-1 away from the crowd and managed 17 whites and 2 12 1/2" crappies.  Also caught some smaller crappies and perch.  Kastmasters loaded with spikes and jig and plastic caught the fish. Be back out in the morning.

Got a couple white bass and perch on airplane jig tipped with waxies. Bouncing off the bottom worked best. Had a couple tip ups with walleye minnows, but nothing. 10:30-12:30. Going out again for the evening bite

This was the scene at Asylum today. The lot was overflowing with vehicles.  Saw a few 4-wheelers out but according to most of the people I talked to, I'd give it a week or so to let the ice firm up.  Warmer days this week and then getting colder again this coming weekend. Don't chance it yet, ladies and gents. Give those legs a workout!

Got out about 11-2. Walked out from boat launch and fished near the island. Bit slow but not bad for first time out. Silver kastmaster w/ waxies worked the best but got a few bites on copper and also with plastic mayflies. Next wkd will probably bring the snowmobile but still a little thin in spots

A few dozen medium sized perch. A few ATV’s but I’d wait a day or two before driving one out personally. Waxworms and emerald shiners.

Ice was ok for walking until the points of the bay start to come together.  Then it was very thin.

No fish out that far anyway. Catching 8" perch on raps, jigs, spoons. All with waxies and spikes. Tried some minnows, no bites.  4-5 FoW next to a weed edge.

Water is very dirty, rattle spoons, or white lures worked.

I wouldn't say I was slamming them, but it was fairly constant.

Use a spud when you get out towards the main lake.

To be clear, this is south asylum bay the libby pt.  Bay
