Lake Traverse is a fun lake. The lake is quite big for my little boat (15ft boat with a 40hp), but it's a fun lake to explore. The fishing is outrageous with phenomenal fishing. Lake Traverse can always produce a multi-species kind of day.

Lake Traverse: Lots of lake and lots of fish but this lake just isn't any old pond there is so much lake to cover you better have plenty of gas. I have fished a lot of lakes in Minnesota and this lake has a few tricks up its sleeve. In some places the lake is clear and some places its a little murky and other places there could be algae. The walleye are plentiful on this lake and if your in the right place with the right equipment at the right time and maybe a little bit of luck your sure to have one heck of a good time. There are also plenty of places to just fish from shore and still have a great time. The lake isn't over populated and its large enough that you never feel crowded or get that sense that the lake is over fished its kind of like a diamond in the ruff just far enough away to be out of the way but totally worth the drive every time.
