Why no new reports on any lake in over a month?

Just came back yesterday from South Dakota. We fished Bitter on Saturday we had three full size trucks out there. Walleye bite was good in the evening.

Can anyone tell me the ice conditions out there? I am planning on making a trip out there and wondering how the ice thickness is and how the shorelines are. Thanks!

Fished out there last weekend. Bite was hit and miss for us. I hear the state record perch came out of the lake on Saturday. Anyone else hear that or can confirm the rumor?

Thursday-Saturday morning my buddy and I fished Bitter, Waubay, and a couple no-name sloughs. We scored best on the largest perch on Bitter Thursday (10.5-12.5") around noon in 32 fow away from the groups. Agressive at times, but mostly neutral. Cameras and small Tungsten/euros being best. Average sive was great, luckily, since deep water didnt allow for sorting (cameras helped..). Second day on Bitter was totally opposite. Extremely neutral/lethatgic fish, tough bite (due to high winds and different weather?). Fished Waubay three times also. One lowlight jumbo the first day (typical for this years bite). Heard one group that had a great evening flurry after struggling with ONE fish ALL day. Moderate bite on eater sized oness on the north end. Sloughs were hot for walleyes and a few jumbos too. Lots of water, go find a gem! FYI - biggest fish under the knife was under 20", most eyes kept 15-18.5. 22, 23, 27.5 released, two other hogs lost
