Ingredients:

  • chops/ steaks
  • flour/salt/ pepper
  • veg.oil
  • brown suger
  • onion
  • ketchup
  • Merlot

Directions:

Mix flour with some salt and pepper what ever your taste may be.Coat venison chops with flour and brown both sides in veg.oil.Arrange in 8x12 baking pan sprinkle with onion. Top each steak with teaspoon of brown suger and teaspoon of ketchup. Dot with table spoon of butter. Add 1/4 cup of beef broth to skillet drippings On medium heat stir to remove any brown bits about one minute.Add to baking pan.Cover with aluminum foil bake at 350 for about 45 minutes .Remove foil if meat seems dry add a little stock. Bake until brown about another 15 minutes. Serve with glass of Merlot.
