HOMETOWN:
Brainerd, MN

I have lived in the Brainerd Lakes area for twenty eight years. My bass tournament career started in 1980 fishing with a club. My first money tournament was in 1987. I have over sixty top three finishes in local and regional bass tournaments. I am a former member of the Nisswa Guides League where I worked for the legendary Marv Koep. I was chosen to guide the Lt. Governor in 2008. (We beat Governor Tim Pawlenty) I have been a member of Team Skeeter since 1996 and currently run a ZX225 with a Yamaha VMax 225. My other sponsors are; Northland Tackle, St. Croix Rods, Ardent Reels and Stub’s Marine. Now days I mostly fish for both largemouth and smallmouth bass, but still like to chase northerns and big crappies when I can find them. I have spent twenty years in retail sales plus the last twelve years as a manufacturer’s representative in the outdoor industry.
