My name is Matt Veech, I have been fishing since I could walk. I started fishing competitively at the age of 12 when I could first be accepted. Ever since than I have been fishing tournaments constantly during the summers, also fishing recreationally with a few guiding trips in the summer. In the summer I fish about five to six days out of the week out my 21’ Legend bass boat with a 250 h.p. Mercury Pro XS with two Lowrance HDS units. I won the Junior State Tournament at the age of 16 which qualified me to go and fish nationals the next year. At the age of 17 I placed 6th in the nation at the FLW Junior World Championship on DeGray Lake in Arkansas.
