Captain Ed Cragg
Hi I am Captain Ed Cragg, I live to fish for muskies when I am not taking clients out for other species.I practice catch and release when it comes to musky fishing. I have been musky fishing for 20+ years, averaging 50+ muskies a year out of my home town lake, Waneta Lake, New York. With a 3rd or more being in the mid 40" and up. An average day, we can put 2-3 muskies in the boat. I have been in the charter business for 6 years. It started as a part time job turning into close to a full time job. I still work 40 hours a week and fish on weekends, using my vacation time for fishing also. I have broke in a lot of new musky hunters that for the most part would have never had the chance to catch a fish. I enjoy taken kids out and teaching them the fundamentals of fishing. I travel all over New York State fishing the Finger Lakes, Great Lakes, Niagara River, and the St Lawrence River. I fish all year long as long as there is open water and it is in the high 20 degrees or warmer. Winter time is one of the best times to fish Seneca Lake.
