Park Falls, WI – If you're at all familiar with the fishing world you probably know the name Tom Neustrom. He's one of the most recognizable and knowledgeable anglers on the scene—and has been for decades. Looking back, Tom began his 40 plus year career as a fishing guide on Lake Geneva in Southern Wisconsin. Since that time, Tom has made his residence in Minnesota, where he's spent subsequent years guiding customers for walleye, trophy northern pike, bass, muskies, jumbo perch, and crappies around the Grand Rapids, Minnesota area.
Tom has been recognized by In-Fisherman, North American Fisherman, Fishing Facts Magazine, Midwest Outdoors, and Minnesota Sportsman as one of the top walleye guides in the country. By being able to closely work with these publications, it has allowed Tom to convey his fishing knowledge and expertise to thousands of readers. Tom is also a key contributor to the new and nationally recognized Lindner's Angling Careers Workshops which provides opportunities for attendees to learn about employment and career opportunities in the fishing industry.
Tom spends the majority of the open water season guiding customers, outdoor writers, and sponsors to memorable days on the lakes and rivers of northern Minnesota. Off the water and ice, Tom spends much of his time doing fishing seminars, writing articles, doing in-store promotions, and attending numerous Minnesota DNR meetings.
Adding to that schedule, Tom Neustrom is now an official member of the St. Croix pro staff. Marketing Director Jesse Simpkins comments: "St. Croix Rod is excited to have Tom Neustrom join our family.
