NEW Okuma Deadeye Pro Series rods utilize the latest in technology to create the ultimate jigging and bottom bouncing rods.

ONTARIO, Calif: The Okuma Deadeye Pro Series rods are one of three new models of walleye specific rods to hit the market this year. The Deadeye Pro Series rods are all custom technique specific walleye jigging and bottom bouncing rods designed for the serious walleye angler.

The Deadeye Pro Series rods were designed with the latest technology and insight from leading walleye tournament anglers from around the Midwest. The backbone of the Deadeye Pro family is the technique specific actions designed to keep you in the game. The jigging rods feature ultra responsive 30-ton graphite while the bottom bouncing rods feature more forgiving 24-ton graphite.

"Jigging and bottom bouncing are two of the main techniques used to capture tasty walleye," states John Bretza, Product Development Manager. "We worked with the top walleye anglers from around the Midwest to get these actions just right and created this series for the serious walleye angler."

The Deadeye Pro Series applies its technique specific actions to 11 key models. With 9 jigging rods in the spinning lineup, and 2 bottom bouncing rods in the casting lineup. The jigging rods feature lengths and actions from 6-foot Medium Fast Taper to 7-foot 6-inch Medium with Fast Taper. The Bottom Bouncing rods are 7-foot 10-inch Medium and a 8-foot 6-inch Medium both with a telescopic butt section for reduced overall length in storage.

The component system of the Deadeye Pro series utilize premium Sea Guide XO-316 stainless steel angled guide frames to reduce line twist, zirconium inserts for braided line use as well as a specialized stainless steel guide tip to prevent inserts from popping out. All Deadeye Pro rods have a cork split grip or cork full grip configuration. They also have a custom pipe reel seat with cork inlay.

The Deadeye Pro Series Jigging Rods are available at a retail price of $99.99 and backed by a 1-year limited warranty. For more information, please visit www.okumafishingusa.com.
