One of my favorites, highly dependant on the amount of rain we've had. When it's running high and muddy the large mouth bass and northerns don't seem to be very interested in artificial lures. When it's been a week or so without rain, it's much more productive. The PFBC stocks the lake with trout and some come into the lake from the delayed harvest area that feeds from Laurel Hill Creeks headwater along the boy scout camp road. The depth at the dam is about 16 feet and the lake stays cold enough in this deeper water for trout to survive the hot water of the summer.
