Not only is the Reservoir a great place to fish - catching saugeye, bluegill or catfish - it also has a fitness trail around the bank and a wilderness trail northwest of the east picnic shelter house. The wilderness trail takes you back to the Flat Rock Creek and the old dam that was built in the early 1900s for the sugar beet factory. Many people fish the Flat Rock for a variety of fish. My husband and I saw a small (12") pike the last time we stood at the dam - that was pretty cool.
