I fished the West Harbor and Sandusky Bay area of Lake Erie last weekend. The fishing is great up there. Both for Largemouth Bass and Channel Catfish. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for constant action while out on the water.

Bass Report on West Harbor/Lake Erie: - Most of the largemouth are spawned out now. And they're in that post-spawn funk. But you can still expect to catch 50+ bass in a day of fishing. If they're not hitting on your medium running crankbait just toss out a football jig or soft plastic craw. Then hang on! I caught 56 largemouth bass in one day on Bomber Model 4A crankbaits while cranking along the rip-rap.

Channel Cat Report on Sandusky Bay/Lake Erie: - If you simply anchor your boat in the vicinity of a bridge where there is current... You should load your cooler full of Channel Cats in a matter of a few short hours. We used shrimp last weekend and filled a full sized cooler in three hours.
