We were at Lake Ilo on Friday, August 31, 2012 from about 2pm until 5pm. The wind conditions formed white caps on the lake. Banks on the SE side of the lake led to very shallow shore fishing. Another group fishing near us said they were their all day and only caught four Perch between them. Casting about 50-60 feet out and a bobber with about a three foot leader didn't move. Very shallow.
The boat ramp area is primitive and to the point. I didn't see any restrooms. Lastly, there is no camping at Lake Ilo.
