Come and enjoy Vectren's Music at the Mounds concert, Saturday, August 28

Native American singer, musician and artist, Bill Miller will perform in the first concert in the Vectrens "Music at the Mounds" concert series on Saturday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Angel Mounds State Historic Site in Evansville.
With the support of Vectren Inc. and the Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau, this concert series will mark the first time an event such as this has taken place at Angel Mounds. The concert will take place across the bridge in the grass field located just behind the new interpretive center. Guests should be sure to bring their blankets and lawn chairs.
Concertgoers are welcome to pack a picnic and relax on the lawn as they listen to the concert. However, coolers will need to be inspected before they are allowed in the site. Alcohol and smoking will not be allowed during this family-friendly evening.
Food and beverages also will be available for purchase at the event.
Admission to the concert is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children ages 10 to 18. Children under 10 get in free. Tickets are available at the Angel Mounds Gift Shop or to order by credit card, call 812-842-0825. The proceeds from this concerts series will benefit the Angel Mounds State Historic Site.
