A LIMITED SAMPLE OF OLDER FISH SUGGESTS THEIR GROWTH IS AVG. BLUEGILLS ARE BELOW THE LOCAL MEDIAN IN ABUNDANCE (0.50/TRAPNET). A SMALL SAMPLE SUGGEST THAT GROWTH IS GOOD, BUT ONLY AGE IV FISH WERE SAMPLED. BLACK BULLHEADS (237/TRAPNET) ARE VERY ABUNDANT. THIS IS ABOUT THE SAME NUMBER FOUND IN 1976 (288.5/TRAPNET BLACK BULLHEAD SIZES RANGE FROM 3.0 TO 12.0 INCHES WITH THE MAJORITY IN THE 3-5 INCH RANGE.
