Nice little fun lake to fish. I have been going there for around four years. The upper part of the lake also known as the pond is great for sunfish in the early spring. It is only five or so feet deep. Thus it warms fast and get flooded with them hungry guys. Later in the spring they will swarm and break the surface when the apex predators come sprinting through for a fast meal. a great sight. And only 45 minutes from the cities. Of course watch out for the water sporters on the week ends.
