History & Status of the Fishery
Boundry Creek Pond is managed as a chlidren's fishing pond and is annually stocked with adult bluegills and black crappies. The average size bluegill sampled was 6.8 inches in length and the average size black crappie was 8.1 inches in length. Over 50% of the black crappies caught during the survey exceeded 8.0 inches. Black crappies were sampled within normal levels for this type of lake where as bluegills were sampled in lower than normal levels. Black bullheads were sampled in relatively high numbers. Their average length was only 5.5 inches long. Boundry Creek is a regular winterkill lake.
