I gave a 4-star rating simply because I usually catch a few fish when I ice fish at Frontenac. I grew up right on the bank of this pond too, so I'm a little biased.
There are sunfish, bluegill, perch, crappie, largemouth, northern pike, and several species of rough fish in Frontenac Pond.
It's a shallow lake, mostly about 5 feet deep, but a hole or two in the 8-10 foot range, and gets most of it's fishing pressure in the winter when it's frozen, since there's no boat ramp.
Summer fishing can be good there too though, either from shore or with a canoe, float tube or small boat and motor.
