History & Status of the Fishery
Cenaiko Lake is a designated stream trout lake located in the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park. Rainbow trout and brook trout have been stocked annually. Heavy fishing pressure is common when the trout seasons open. Winter angling is very popular, especially opening weekend. Brook trout were found in low abundance during this survey, most likely due to the popularity of the fishery. Hybrid sunfish were the most abundant species sampled, but the fish were small. White crappies were found in average abundance, but were also small. Some of the fish did exceed 10 inches, but they were rare. Carp were present in low numbers. The black bullhead catch was down overall from previous surveys.

This is a tiny man made lake that is stocked with trout by the DNR. No live minnows allowed as this is a designated trout lake (pond). I fished it in the winter a few years back. We did decent on trout, though all were very small. I've heard there are also some decent sized crappie in the lake.
