I'm heading up there with my wife and two small kids for a week of fishing over the 4th of July. I know it's not an ideal time for crappies or walleyes, but does anyone have any information (General, or specific) to get me started? First time fishing the lake, and I heard it's pretty big.
Also, any bait choices that are "must have's" for this lake?
My son wants to try bass, but I'm guessing they will be easier to find on shorelines/weed edges.
Dad would really like to eat a walleye or crappie! Thank you in advance and if you need to, you can also message me.
