I fished out there with the family this past Sunday when it hit the upper 80's. We trolled shad raps and original floaters on lead core and picked up a mixed bag of fish which is typical on the river (Walleye, Smallmouth, Sheepshead, White Bass, a clam, and a plastic garbage bag Ha!). The fish we marked and caught were in 21' to 23' and we were running 3 colors of lead core at about 2 mph.

Fished this morning till this afternoon and had a blast. Started throwing for smallies right under the high lines and had 3 in the boat in the first twenty minutes on x-raps. Then hit up some riprap shores and had two more smallies before I had a high 30's low 40's musky hit. Had it up to the boat on twelve pound test then it broke the line. Fun fight. Had another one the same size come follow up to the boat about fifteen minutes later. After that I fished for crappies with a tube jig under all the floating piers and did quiet well. came home with six crappies all 11 to 13 inches. Another beautiful day to be on the water. Hope to be tommorrow with the musky gear and get that toothy critter that has my x rap.
