Tough conditions out at the dock today, but I was able to pick up a few bites after work today. Very windy ENE winds at 15mph! Worked a spinner bait and a carolina rigged 4" Gulp minnow. Victims were a small Pike and a nice 18" large mouth. The other day I say a pair of 4 feet carp swimming through. I will try to pick them up s oon.

Got out here from 5:30 to 7 after work tonight and boy did I have a blast! The rain just shut off a little after 6. I was fishing off the dock again at Kings Rd and Minnewashta Pkwy. I found the bass finally! One 15" and another just a little over 12". And right before I left, I landed a chunky 29" Pike that weighed just a little over 5lbs! I was jiggle a Gulp 3" Minnow in Smelt color. Winds were calm, NW 6mph.

Hi yink777,

I was out last night from 730-830pm on the main dock off Kings rd and Minnewashta Parkway. I caught a few pike 22-24" range and lost a monster one that bent my swivel and took off! I was using a Berkley Gulp 4" minnow on a weedless 1/0 hook with 1/8 oz weight, Texas Rigged.

I've seen people land bass in the distance from boats by pitching it near a point with weeds/structure. Otherwise from the dock, you'll land crappie, sunnies/gills, and pike. The waters near the dock are setup with nice weed beds and is fairly flat in the 5-15 feet depth. There should be Bass in there, but I haven't seen any. Cool

Returned to the waters on the west side of the lake near the the dock on Kings Rd and Minnewashta Pkwy. I reached the basin I was targeting for 40 fow. I got out there and measure 50 fow, coordinates (latitude 44°52'44.49"N, longitude 93°37'4.04"W). I tried seeing what will bite a few feet off the floor, but no takers. Brought the line up to 23fow and nailed a handful of decent crappie from 10am to noon.

Tested the waters on the west side of the lake near the the dock on Kings Rd and Minnewashta Pkwy. There is a 40 foot basin I was targeting, but ending up on 24 feet of water. I caught this pike at 10AM in about 21 fow on a Northland Tackle Ice Jiglet tipped with a minnow. A lot of nibbles but no other takers. Was out from 9am to noon.
