I went out of Two Harbors this morning. To start the day, I headed north, and didn't stay in the harbor due to the number of boats already there. Marked a few, but now bites. I saw a coworker, who was fishing on the breakwall, walk back to his truck with no fish mid-morning. Later in the day, I went to the knife river and trolled back to Two Harbors. About half way, I caught a nice 10# king on the downrigger set at 41' down. I marked a lot of fish in the 175 to 195' range, all at 35 to 68' down. The king I caught was the only action I got all day. I moved up here recently, so if anyone has tips for this time of year, I would be grateful.
