MOON PHASE (90%)
Waxing Gibbous
I did make it out there this past week and did OK. The trip didn't start off OK however...when I pulled out of the driveway something was wrong and quickly realized I had a flat tire on the rear passenger side of the truck. After trying to get the spare off for about an hour we gave up and ran to gas station to pick up a tire plug kit and hit the road 2 hours later than we wanted too.

Anyway, I primarily fished shallow (6'-7') with a jig and shiner and picked up a few doing that, but got more of them trolling #5 shad raps in that same depth range. My friend got this nice (19.5") smallmouth in 11' of water. We also got a few walleyes a little deeper in 18' +/-.

There is a lot of pressure on the lake lately so good luck out there!
