The common experience at HL is to catch several small perch, small pike with an occasional small walleye. The MI DNR does not manage this (nor any body of water) lake effectively, or even look at it unless they are looking to write citations to meet their quotas. You can catch the periodic eater, but its fished out.

good walleye fishing you get a lot of eyes in the 13 to 14 in range but there is some nice eyes out there
