lakeville can be a good lake to fish if you know where to look the lake has changed alot from when i first started fishing it about 5 years ago it used to be stained to dirty water and thick with weeds. the boat and jet ski traffic can at times drive you nuts because there is no speed limit on the lake that i am aware of.the the water to day is clear and allows weeds to grow deeper the boat traffic can still drive you crazy. most of the fish we cought came on drift fishing a worm just east of the boat rental place and the wind was blowing us to the west. the one thing that still remains is that this can be a great lake for night fishing once all speed boat traffic ends.slow rolling spinner baits or small crank baits can pproduce some very hard hits.all in all i like this lake because it can produce some very nice fish but it make you think.
