School Section Lake has great bluegill fishing,decent bass fishing, and fair pike fishing. My favorite places to fish are in the channels, along the northern edge of the island, and the far southwest area of the lake.

School Section Lake is regarded by many as the most picturesque lake in the county. The east branch of the Little Muskegon River flow nearby and is a favorite haunt of the trout fisherman.
