Higgins Lake is in Roscommon County, not Crawford County as stated above. Since PLM water treatment in Alto Michigan poisons the lake annually, the fishing is not great, but the water sparkles with poisons that doesn't care about human posterity. The lake looks great for the summer flat lander visits as they pay to have the weeds and water, thus family members poisoned as they attempt to mitigate weeds. Yes flatlanders and area management, the poison that PLM uses will sterilize humans, thus your children and glyphosate (which they use) has an endless shelf life. Good job, DNR, area local leaders, EPA and people who just love poisoning nature and each other. I don't dislike the lake, its the humans who reside around it and the Do Nothing Right (DNR) that ruin it.
