This lake has a good number of Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, sunfish, Pike and Carp... The Bass can be tricky to locate as this lake lacks a lot of structure.. Largest that I have caught was 18.25" Top-waters, spinnerbaits/chatter style and cranks are a good choice on this lake.. For those who aren't familiar with this lake there are two lakes connected by a small channel, each lake is about the same as far as structure and bottom content. Abundent weeds surface and sub-surface Max depth is 20' with some 5' area's but drops abruptly to 10'.. if you don't have a boat you can rent one and go up river to Little Nottawa lake.. Panfish are very plentiful in this lake too, some hybrid bluegills and sunfish are present.
