The Lake is crystal clear has a good verity of fish.. It has a sandy bottom also included is a Boat launch with a dock also has a swimming area and a National Forrest Camp ground that is a Great place to camp.... Camp sites are spacious and spread out so you are not camping on top of each other..
The fishing is always good I've always caught fish here... The town of Barton City is a nice quiet town with a Store/ Gas station Restaurant and a Local drinking establishment..
You won't be disappointed fishing this lake anytime of the year...
