Scott Wilsmann from Mishicot, Wisconsin
"Very low visability. Caught several small perch and walleye. Fished one day for Muskie but unsuccessful. A good lake to skip over on your way to Tenderfoot!"
Tim Culver from Sussex, Wisconsin
"Wow, I don't know how many people are being "fooled"? Tried some late season ice fishing, 18 snowmobiles, 26 four wheelers on the lake by 10am, probably around 100 people fishing. Never seen so much fishing pressure on a Vilas County Lake. Sure hope this lake stays a secret??? I'll try back on a week day."

One More Cast from Up North, Wisconsin
"This lake has always been known for muskie as the "first legal" lake-lots of fish where you can catch a legal size fish, but without trophy potential. Lots of action, very scenic. Have caught nice largemouth on muskie lures too. Campsites on shore. Trip to Tenderfoot on the Ontanongan R. is fun, but watch for rock hazards!! Giant crappies have been caught (18") on Tenderfoot."
Orv Smuttle from West Bend, Wisconsin
"Great atmosphere, great lake for that getaway! Dark water & weeds makes it easy to catch fish anytime!"
BIG Fish from Milwaukee, Wisconsin

"Toooooo many people fish this lake.....weekends?....forget it!
Opening weekend this year?.....10 rigs in the parking lot....THE NIGHT BEFORE! Some CAMPING!
Mr jacklin is right..too much pressure means too few larger fish."
