Jason Vanderlinden from Lone Tree, Iowa(2/15/06)
"Like any reservoir, Coralville can be very stubborn! The water is very murky most of the time, there is very little structure in the lake except for the bottom composition, and even though there is an abundance of gizzard shad, catfish, crappie and white bass compete with the large mouth bass for the shad. With alot of suspending bass, heavy boat traffic and unstable water conditions fishing can be hit or miss!"
Kieth Jackson from Cedar Rapids, Iowa(8/8/02)
"Nice lake, but widely flucatuating level makes for difficult fishing. Many large boats, 28 - 35 feet on weekends makes for very rough conditions. Good pre-10:00 AM skiing, as there is always sompelace out of the wind. Beach boatramp is by far the best. Have fun!"
