Great ice fishing, tons of panfish and the crappie are aggresive, lots of largemouth iced as well, all little. I think they need to be managed a little better (eating them). The summer bass bite is pretty good to, my family loves the bassin' and they do pretty well here.

Holy cow, I can't believe Crow Creek is on here! I spend 80% of my fishing hours on the BIG CC and absolutley love the place. Probably best for crappie (main class is 10-12" now with some reaching 14") which seem most cooperative in the mid-late fall and early-early spring. They seem to disappear for me in the summer but I do get into them during the winter also. with the exception of early spring the crappie bite nearly always occures after sunset. LM bass and pure bluegills are a tie for second here. The bass run up to 6# and are most cooperative in mid-late spring. always a good one hangin around the beaver lodge near the SE corner. The mature male gills are up to 9" with some pushing 9.5" and are most productive during the early spawn. The big gills are tough to catch under the ice but it can be done. There are some very large channel catfish in the pit but the one's I've caught were by purely accident. I caught one northern pike just after ice-out in 2000 (34" est) and one just after ice-out in 2001 (38" measured) fishing for crappie both times. due to the small size of CC I rarely keep any crappie or gills and I let all gamefish go. Thanks for doing the same.
