Some lakes are getting weak spots where there had previously been excess snow. Check conditions frequently as you go.

The lake is reported as having 6-10" of ice with little snow cover.

Most lakes are all frozen over but the snow on top has made for uneven ice formation. Check conditions frequently as you go.

Some lakes have skim ice, some are open.

The lake is 75% skimmed over but the geese are keeping some of it open as of 1/4.

Bluegill - Fair: Worms under bobbers near the shoreline has been working. Some bigger fish are out deeper.

Black Crappie - Fair: Look for suspended fish over deeper water. Minnows have been best.

Channel Catfish - Good: Fish evenings for best results. Stinkbait and worms are working.

Largemouth Bass - Fair: Squarebill crankbaits and plastics have been producing.
