North Prairie Lake

Angling has been fair to poor on the interior rivers with the up and down weather pattern. Most rivers have risen to some degree with the recent rainfall accumulations. There have been no reports on the surrounding area lakes. Trout streams remain in excellent condition and the stocking is fully underway. North Prairie Lake will be stocked with rainbow trout this coming Saturday, April 20th.

Rainbow Trout - Good: Try casting and retrieving flashy lures or jigs with tinsel for some good trout action. Also try fishing a piece of worm or waxworm under a slip bobber.

The interior rivers should be opening back up with the warm weather. The extended forecast for again next week looks to be warming temperatures.
