A lake restoration project is underway for this lake. The DNR is dredging and going to make some prime fishing habitat. The main reason why they are doing the lake restoration is because there are a lot of rough fish that get in there from the river and they want to get rid of them, which is good. My only concern is there is no possible way they can prevent this from happening again. They can put up fish barriers and screens but since this is a reservoir fed from a small river fish eggs will still travel down stream and these fish will once again populate this lake, But hey I'm no expert this is just my opinion.
