About Lake-Link

One of the most valuable resources for fishermen is information about the lakes they are going to fish. Whether one is a casual fisherman planning a vacation to the professional angler gathering details for a competition, there are key details related to the targeted lake or lakes that can help make or break any fishing expedition.

Steve and Darin Novak founded Lake-Link in October of 1997. Being avid fishermen and outdoorsmen ourselves, we have always been interested in different lakes and areas of our home state of Wisconsin.

Lake-Link was born with our desire to collect information and share it with our fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Our fishing report board has grown to a friendly community of people coming together to help each other in one common goal, to catch the "big one"!

In 2001 Don Waier came on board to head up online sales and marketing for Lake-Link. Since that time Lake-Link has evolved from a simple hobby site into one of the largest trafficked fishing community sites in the nation.

Our commitment to you, our viewers, is to continue to expand our site to help all fisher people gain knowledge of the Midwest's vast lake system and beyond. Also to give tourists visiting our wonderful Midwestern states information in regard to fishing, lodging and local events.

Lake-Link's longer-term goal is to expand this site into the most informative fishing/outdoor site on the web covering the entire United States.
