Rocky Fork lake is a great place to live year around, it is private with only a few full time residents, so it is like having your own private lake, the care taker keeps the roads clear in the winter and a short drive to Rockville. The lake has lot of wild life, Ducks, Deer, Otters, and even a Mute Swain has been observed at the lake.

Rocky Fork Lake is a little-known lake tucked deep into Parke County, which is fast becoming a tourist destination in Indiana. Should the residents of Parke County get wind of this, development could follow...but for the time being, Rocky Fork is a quiet family oriented (and very clean) fishing lake where you can hear nature more than people, rustling leaves more than crowds, and fishing lines more than jetskis (which aren't allowed by the way.) Piece of heaven for those of use who relax there.
