Eagle Creek Reservoir is really fun lake to fish. For some reason Lake-Link does not list it as one of Indiana's walleye lakes, but the DNR dumps close to 50,000 walleye in this lake every year. It has been stocked with walleye dating back to 2000, and maybe even before. Also just in 2013 the IDNR added musky to this lake.
Anyway, even though EC has so many walleye stocked year after year, it still isn't the states best walleye fishery.... by far. Catching the walleye in this lake takes some precision work. However, I've found my limit a couple of times over the years.
Eagle Creek Reservoir in my opinion is definitely in the top 5, if not the best, white crappie lake in the state. Over the past couple years I always catch one or two crappies that are upwards of 2-2½lb.. Most of the crappies are in the 10'' - 12'' range, but you'll still find smaller ones too. Fishing for them is fairly easy if you know the basics of crappie fishing.
The bass fishing on this lake can be incredible. It's enjoyable to see the tournament guys weigh in 6-8lb largemouths week after week. I don't bass fish the lake too often, but it was listed in the top 5 best bass lakes in IN from one of Indiana's outdoor magazines. I've caught several 3, 4, and 5lb largemouths out of this lake, but most of the bass I find are 13''-18'', or 1½ - 2lb range. Finding the bass is pretty easy using the same tactics you'd use on any lake.
The only structure on this lake is either man made, or the banks. The banks offer a ton of downed trees, logs, hills, and drop offs. There is a main channel that runs through, but it isn't much more than a slight dip. There are a lots of docks to fish around, and there is plenty of rip-rap banks.
The downfall to this lake is that you cannot have more than a 10hp motor, which limits bass boats to trolling motor only. Launch fee is $5.00, and the ramps are beautiful and big. Good luck!
