I've been to this lake 10 times or so. Have caught some nice LM bass and lost a few lures to accidental muskies. Have seen a few upper 30's Muskie caught. Small lake and descent pressure. It's ok but not a destination lake for sure.

Personally i love this lake. There are plenty of docks and places to fish if you do not have a boat with a small motor, and i've been catching tons of Largemouth Bass the last 2 weeks. I hear people pulling up to the dock and complaining about poor fishing, but i've had great luck every night i've gone. About a week ago i pulled a 2 1/2 lb largemouth from the lake and i catch keepers just about everynight. I mainly fish for bass but have caught a few catfish within the last week. A few years ago i used to fish for crappie and would catch some pretty nice ones each time i went out. Imo this is one of the better lakes to fish in northern illinois, i just wish i lived closer so i wouldn't have to drive so far to fish it.
