I gues I have the same combo .lf so here is some tips: you can use it for lead core/boards however I doubt if it fit more than 6-7 colors .The rod is to soft especially by the tip for dipsey.I removed the very last section of the rod.I use the rig only for spring coho , featuring 2-3 colors. Will be there tomorrow too.Good Luck.

I'm headed out off the naval Base on Saturday morning. I know salmonorama is going on so I'm avoiding all public launches. I'm not in the tourney and I haven't been out in a while. Last time I was out I ran just coho rigs, is it still the same or everybody or are there some spoon colors that are hot right now. Is everybody switching to flashers and Howie flies? I don't really have anything to Target just going to catch some fish with a buddy. Some bow would be cool...havr the fish moved in or are they still out deep? Any help is appreciated.

This evenings pic. Courtesy of Lake Michigan. Sunset. 3 fat coho 6 to 7 lbs too. The best coho fising I have experienced up in this neck of the woods. Moonshine UV Wonderbread tookthis king 25 ft down on rigger. I lost another king in the upper 20 lb class on a 10 color with Green Flounder Pounder. Cannot win em all.

Great morning out fishing...got my limit in 1.5 hrs. fished from 4:00-5:30 am in 80-120 fow...first one was a nice 8-9lb coho on a dipsy 40 loc on a blue glow dodger with a moonshine blue flounder, second was an awesome 18.5 king, green flounder on a dipsy 55 loc, third and forth was a king 8-10lbs and a 5-6lb coho on the blue flounder and finally ended up with a 10-12lb steelhead on a copperbacked chicken wing 100ft behind the ball 55 down.
Been the best fishing so far this year , went out 5 out of the last 7 days and limited each time in less than 2 hrs...
