Hit the dup at warrenville grove. Tried under the dam first, water was moving to fast, then went down of the point by the bridge and caught what looked like a hornyhead chub. Well it wasnt the best day but it was nice to get out and reduce the cabin fever.

I fished there about a month and a half ago. We caught a few small bass and tons of warmouth. We did, however, catch a ten inch Crappie. The river is nice to fish for convenience but if I had time there are many other places to fish in the area.

Sounds like you got into some nice smallies. We haven't been to the river in a while. Every time we go we end up not catching much, other than small stuff. We got permission to fish a quarry so we have been hitting that fairly often.

Keep up the Good Fishing,

My friends house backs right up to the river. He found a little hole and caught four on four casts. All the fish were small though, 10-12 inchers. I thought there was suppose to be some three pounders swimming around?

The max depth is 10 ft, but I have no idea where that is. I don't think there's any topography maps available.
