YaHey, Launch at Sky Ranch and head north on the east side of the lake up where the sportsman club is located. I have seen and talked to a lot of pannie fishermen that do well up there in that area.

Ummmm, obviously there has been at least a few people on the lake. Apparently they would rather complain about each other rather than post a fishing report though. Anyone out there civil enough to actually post a report?

Yikes! This is becoming like a Wisconsin thread. Can anyone please post or private message me info on crappie fishing this month? Thanks. I am on a medical leave and want to take advantage of my good days. Am willing to travel. Thanks!

Thad, I'm sorry I didn't mean to throw you under the boat like that. Our intention was to only use the trolling motor but once we were blow to the north end of the lake we needed a little help getting back, again never once did we create a wake.

Msky60 With the personality your showing I now see why you were fishing ALONE! hell even the guy in the Jon boat had a dog.

In no way am I trying to pass the buck, I owned up to what we did, unlike you who is trying to down play the fact you passed within 10 feet of us while running a 25hp at lets say half throttle creating a wake large enough to rock our boat. I would like to also point out we were not running a 90hp like you stated our boat has a 50hp which only proves you're trying to embellish this story.

Feel free to post the agency you reported us to, I have no problem calling to explain the satiation we were in.

Finally I will not be responding to any of your future post regarding this subject. To quote Robert Evans " There are three side to every story: your side, my side, and the truth. Memories shared serve each differently."

Heres to you forgetting to put the drain plug in one day, remember life it too short to sweat the little things.

First of all you broke the rules stop trying to pass the buck....second my boat goes 32 mph i was nowhere close to full throttle heading into a 40 mph wind i would have been upside-down. you knew when you launched that boat you were going to use the 90 hp to drive around the lake it was windy then and it only got worse as you drifted to the complete opposite end of the lake.

Wasn't me. I don't fish Spring Lake anymore. Too many northern boats coming south to fish it now.

A friend of mine was fishing out there and said that you went through part of the lake on plane.

Sometimes it is best to stay near the ramp if you only have a trolling motor to get around the lake on windy days.

Take care, be safe and good fishing.

I'm one of the "jokers" in the yellow boat from the other day, get a life! We were using the trolling motor until the winds kicked up to 30-40 mph and we only used the motor to go south on the lake. If you would like to talk fishing/lake "etiquette" you passed within 10 feet of us, full throttle with a 25hp while we were fishing, while we never came within 50 feet of your boat while you were casting. Let me ask you something. Whats worse, a boat with larger motor not even producing a wake pass you or some JO pass within 10 feet of you full throttle with a 25hp?

Please everyone, keep in mind that this lake has a hp restriction. There was some joker with a bright yellow boat running a huge motor on plane yesterday. If those 2 guys happen to by chance read this post, your vehicle license plate number has been called in and turned over to the local COP.
