Fished yesterday from 3 to 6, had 7 to 9 inches of ice. Fished shallow by boat launch, couldn't find any fish. Trying again tomorrow.

Made the poor decision to fish this lake again yesterday afternoon. Just didn't feel like packing the boat up and driving for an hour to hit a decent lake. Wish I would have now. Launched the boat at about 2:00 P.M. Didn't realize it when I launched, but when I went and got the truck to take the boat out of the water when we were done I realized that the pavers or whatever it is they use for a launch only go out about 8', and then there's a large drop off down to the lake bottom. The drop off is a good 6" or more. I was worried about getting the trailer back out after the boat was back on it. I got it out without damaging my trailer luckily. I'll never launch my boat there again. Lesson learned. Anyway, the entire lake has weeds up the the water surface. Couldn't make a single cast without getting hung up on weeds. We moved all over the lake to try finding a spot where the weeds weren't up to the top, but there were very few of them. Ended up just catching two dink perch before we gave up.
Oh! I get what Brian and Jeff are doing! They are trying to scare off potential people who could go fish there because they are afraid everyone else will ruin "their" lake. People this is not true about the parking! The only restriction is you can't park at the boat launch if you do not have a trailer. There is no sticker requirement for anything at the "Round Lake Beach" side. Sorry Brian and Jeff, it's a lake for all.
