Mchenry Dam is south of 120 on South River road, there is another one down in Algonquin, 31 and Algonquin road. The next nearest one in Wisconsin on the Fox is up in Burlington.

Yes thanks I know of the McHenry dam. Just looking for any fishable spillways or dams up north by lake Catherine and channel. Or even into southern Wisconsin

MH08.....

There are no dams or spillway on the river in IL north of the Chain.  There used to be one at Wilmot WI but it was removed, not sure where the next one is going north.

Anyone catching walleye at the dam.  Dam walleyes are great up north in Wisco....why not here? I love walleye.
