Although it was on the trail we never fished it....we hit Patoka which is south of there...Lemon lake...Grouse lake...Salimonie...Misseniwa...Huntington...sorry( spelling may be wrong on those)...went as far as getting maps for it but it didn't fit our schedules back then...

Went to lake Sara last week(10-23...10-26)...had a major cold front and rain pound on us the first day and a half....fish were actually more active during the storm and got very lethargic after...we caught a bunch...size was on the smaller size than what I remember seeing here....been close to ten years since I was here last...lot's of shoreline rocks now line my favorite shorelines...the laydowns and submerged trees are still there....some are gone but that is what time does to our honey holes...found some new areas for next time....was in a buddies boat that had decent down imaging and we vertically jigged over them...slipbobber worked very well also...buddies in the next cabin over drifted and ran a double hook rig and did well also...

Went to Lake Sara on fri fished fri. sat. sun. Caught 9 fish total over 3 days 2 of them were legal size. No fish were weighed in at tournament sunday. Water was muddy in some places and stained in others. All the heavy rains may have the fishing out of wack. Looks like a decent lake but I have no plans to return any time soon. Saw other anglers catching crappie on minnows and all were 4to 9 inch size. Puke

No report, just a question. Do they rent boats with motors at this place? Thanks.

Yes, that is what I have heard. I have not fished them in the fall but October I have heard is a good month. Contact Bobbi at Anthony Acres resort on the lake and she can give you better info on the Fall. Nice people if you need a place to stay.
