Thank you for the response I have never  iceed fish Lake Carroll before and it creeped me out ice fishing it the first time when it was 50 degrees previous. I did not know how well the ice in the east marina would after 2 days of warm weather.  Still learning the lake

from what i found online,

"Rain has relatively little effect on ice. An inch of rain falling in 40 degree air temps has enough thermal energy to melt about 1/16" of ice."

should be back below freezing by 3pm today.

Fished the East Marina Saturday with no luck.  we saw a lot of tents stacked up outside the bay.  gonna try some deeper water this weekend.

has anyone had any luck targeting pike?

Sat was slow. Sunday big gills action all day. A few keeper perch and crappie as well. Will be back out weekend of the 20th for sure.

Ecosse52 yea silt building up in the lake has been crazy the last few years. I will prob stop by there to search around with my buddies garmin panoptix, If i find anything I will keep you all posted. Tight lines

i have not, depending on how long ago they were dropped they may be non existent no due to the silt build up in that area.  hopefully not though.  cars packed, looking forward to getting out there this weekend.
