Fished lake Catherine and Marie today with a buddy. Caught 2 walleye. 18.5" and 25". Both released. Also caught a dozen nice wipers and my buddy got a nice pike. All on hair jigs and minnow. 8-12 FOW. Also anyone know what disease the fish has?

Out yesterday from 8:30 -2:30. Nice day to be out. Fished Catherine and Marie for Musky. Suckers, spinners, rubber, glide baits. Didn't see a fish. Seemed like a few guys were catching stripers but that seemed to be it. Probably done for the season for me. Overall, not a great year for me on the Chain compared to the past few. Going to need a few refresher courses from T-Bone next year.
The panfish bite on the chain is still very strong. Crappies, white bass, and bluegills are almost nonstop most days. Some days it is plastics and other days it's live bait. I have found the bigger Walleyes deeper right now. Not a ton of numbers but some big girls. ( In which I release all of them in my boat) A few muskies in deeper water as well but a tougher bite for sure. This trend should hold until ice. Think outside of the box for a true fall trophy out here. Thanks to you guys for the kind words! Much appreciated

7 eyes and fee smallies. Fished bridges and areas with current. Eyes had no size. Water cooled off too quick, bite is so lethargic you cannot even feel the fish. 1/8-1/4 jigs and xlarge fatheads. Froze toes and fingers like a Santa Claus during the gift wrap.

Fished lake Marie Wednesday evening and tonite. Yesterday caught a few nice wipers and a short. Today caught some small wipers and lucked into some walleye . 2 keepers, 2 shorts and a slot fish. 1/8 oz jig and minnow. 11-13 FOW both days.
Barnacle Bob's. If you want a great knowledgeable experience on the chain. I suggest you hire T-Bone Guide Service for a day. Well worth it. You can cover all the lakes. Just tell him what you are after.Scroll down posts and read his reports.
